Handcarved antique Black Forest inkwell. The inkwell measures 15 1/2" wide by 9 3/4" deep and 12" tall. The owl figure is 8" tall with glass eyes. The piece is solid in structure with no repairs or damage to note. The trunk or wooden log stump conceals the inkpot with a hinged lid. The opposite side is the card stand. The piece is a legal antique and dates to the early 20th century.
