Pair of antique hand carved wooden figural fern stands. The figures are puttis holding bounty of grapes septor in other hand. They are well carved and sturdy and original in structure . The stands measure 36 1/2" tall 12" diameter top and 15" tripod base. The stands are in good condition with some minor loss to the hands of a finger tip or two. The pair are of blonde wood likely fruit wood with what appears to be a knotty table top. The base is a dense wood. We believe they are Italian dating circa 1860-80 perhaps earlier.
