Antique French fire place fender surround. The decorative fender is produced in the Rococo style. It is solid brass and quite large measuring 73 1/4" long by 13" tall and is 14 3/4" deep. The fender is fixed in size and not adjustable. We date the fender circa 1860-80 in age legal antique. The fender is in good condition with no loss or damage to note. It could use a light polish. Quite a handsome piece fresh in from a private estate.
