Antique Victorian garnet brooch . This is a small but fiery garnet brooch . The brooch measures a little over 1” in diameter. The brooch is set with genuine faceted garnets . The larger center stones are open back not foiled . The mounting is silver with a gold wash . All stones are original . The pin catch has been replaced with a locking one. We date the pin circa 1890.
