Antique European early hand carved wooden figural panels. The pair are matched left and right. Well carved, with some loss at the foot on the right, which would be the left facing panel. They measure 12" tall by 6 1/2" wide and are 2" thick. The pieces are solid and heavy. Thought to be early oak, dateline prior to 1800. They have screw hooks attached to the back, so they have been decorative for some time. The pieces likely came from a buffet or perhaps a similar piece of furniture. These would look great flanking an icon or similar early work.
