Antique gold panther bracelet. This is a fabulous one of a kind piece hand crafted in 14K yellow and white gold. It is signed but not discernible. The panther heads are precision made hand engraved and solid in structure. The faces are exceptional with white gold whiskers emerald eyes and diamonds set into the muzzle. The open mouth reveals a great set of white gold teeth. The panthers have genuine diamond collars and a line of diamonds which encircles the bracelet. The diamonds are bright cut set in white gold. The stones are blue white matched all full cut genuine old mine cut diamonds of excellent quality and clarity. There are 8.61 carats total diamond weight. They are as follows total of 6.5 carats, 10 .15 total 1.15 carats 26 .25 32 1 1/2 pointers total .96 carats. The heads are bezel set with four 3.5mm emeralds estimated.60 carats total. The bracelet measures 2 13/16 wide by 2 10/16ths deep and is 1" at the widest point of the head. The bracelet band width is 11 mm = 7/16ths. The bracelet weighs in at 57.6 dwts.14K yellow and white gold. The bracelet is secured with a snap clasp under the head frame. The locking clasp and 14K white gold hinge tongue function well. The piece is likely Eastern Indian in origin reminiscent of fine Mughal jewelry. We estimate the age to be circa 1900. The bracelet is in excellent condition with no damage,loss or repair to note. The bracelet is a recent estate find and has been privately held for the past 40 years. Truly a work of art!
