10K English antique mourning ring. The ring is inscribed "in memory of my Son" or possibly "Lon". The top initials appear to be G L. The ring dates circa 1860 and has four bands of braided hair locks. The ring oddly was sized and the hair must have been removed to do so. The ring measures a finger size of 8 1/2 and weighs 1.4 dwts 10K.
