Antique Apollo jewelry casket. This beautiful jeweled casket measures 5 1/2" wide by 4 1/8" deep and is 1 1/2" tall. The jewels are all intact and the casket is numbered model 2765 on the base. The ormolu (gold gilt) is about 90% with some gold loss to the bottom of the casket. The piece is by the renowned New York firm of Apollo Studios circa 1900.
