PaintinAntique French portrait miniature. The ivory portrait is hand painted and artist signed Wilke. The miniature measures 4 3/8" long by 3 1/2" wide. The ivory portrait is under convex glass which is original and has a few light surface scratches. The ormolu frame is bezel set with garnets, persian turquoise, and opal cabochons all stones are intact. The frame has been recently cleaned and checked by our in house jeweler. We date the miniature to circa 1900.
