Antique Staffordshire figure of a boy crying over the rabbit hole. The figure stands 7" tall with a two inch base diameter. He is crying over the dead bunny at his feet. At the bottom of the figure there are several rabbits some painted and some under glaze. The boy appears distressed perhaps his dog killed the bunny . Sad but unusual subject matter for Staffordshire ware. The piece is in good condition with noticeable paint loss to the figure. We date the figure circa 1860-70 in age.
