Antique sterling silver snake collared bottle. The bottle stands 15" to the top of stopper it is 6 1/2" wide and 3 inches deep. The decanter is hand blown green glass. The bottle is fitted with sterling silver snake coil, collar and stopper. The collar is monogrammed with what we think are the initials of M S M . The stopper and all silver pieces are hall marked with the lion passant for silver, panther head for London, and b for the year 1897-98. The collar has a slight tear to the silver on the seam of the drip cup about the width of a fingernail in length. No loss but there. All the fittings are original with the exception of a modern cork. The piece aside of collar is in excellent condition.
