French Empire antique alabaster clock. The clock is legal antique circa 1820. It measures 15 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" wide with a 4 1/2" depth. The clock has stunning varegated colors of amber and brown tones with veining with stark white alabaster reliefs. The ormolu face is immaculate with the original hands and movement. The clock is in working order and has recently been serviced. This clock was the epitome of quality when it was made, and is a true & authentic example of the French Empire style. It presents beautifully in a mantle or on a table, and provides great decorative appeal to a fine room or collection of antiques. The condition of the clock is near flawless with the exception of a section of the top corner frame is missing near the back. Please refer to photos.
