Antique Madonna Of The Chair handpainted porcelain miniature. The porcelain is mounted in French ormolu frame (gold gilt over bronze). The piece framed measures 7 3/4" tall by 5.5" wide with a depth of 1/2". The ormolu is excellent with no wear spotting or loss. The oval porcelain plaque is signed lower left hand side difficult to make out the signature. The plaque is precision handpainted and measures 5" long by 3.5" wide. The porcelain is in excellent condition as well with no damage to note. We date the piece to 1870 legal antique. Stock item PG719-025
