Antique German salt glaze urn. The urn is lidded and measures 24" tall to the top of the lid. The base height is 18 1/2" tall by 6 1/2" in diameter. The piece is intricately decorated in diameter with three panels of dancing courtship couples in traditional Bavarian costume. The urn is handsomely appointed with dark blue glaze with two rings of brown. The piece is good condition with no damage to note. We date this piece legal antique circa 1890.
