Antique English sterling silver berry spoon. The spoon is produced by hand circa 1825 by Robert Rutland London England registered London silver smith from 1807-26. The spoon measures 8 7/8" long by 1 3/4" wide at the bowl and weighs a sturdy 2.08 oz. The spoon features a gilded vermeil bowl hand repoused bowl. The spoon is elegantly hand engraved on both sides. Well hallmarked we can date the piece circa 1825. The spoon is in excellent condition with little to no wear. A fine Georgian example of silver smithing.
