Antique sterling silver Hamilton & Company Calcutta. The cake server or trowel was a presentation piece for the first stone laid at the Hindu orphanage in Cawnpore India in 1906. The piece is well hallmarked. The sterling server is complete with a genuine ivory handle. The handle does have a minor split to the reverse. The solid silver cake server measures 10 1/2" long by 3 1/8" wide.
